Toegangsapp - Request access to KPN's technical locations
Toegangsapp is an Android application developed by Engineers Support that allows users to request access to KPN's technical locations. Currently, it includes PoP locations and technical buildings (MA and MC locations), which will be expanded in the future. The app features a searchable list of locations from which users can select the desired one, or they can choose the nearest one. It also keeps a list of recently visited locations, and users can add locations to their favorites.
The app provides information about the locations and allows users to navigate to them. It also offers direct contact with the NOC and a phonebook with important phone numbers.
Access requests can only be made within a 250-meter radius of the location, and users are automatically logged out when they are more than approximately 2000 meters away. The distance to the PoP is determined based on the user's GPS position, which is only used for this purpose and is NEVER stored or sent to Reggefiber.
If the user has been granted access to a location, they can easily report any irregularities in or on the location to KPN via the "Report an Irregularity" button.
